If it had not been for Annie Proulx, there would have never been a Brokeback Mountain movie at all.
I suggest that you have a section about discussing the Original copyrighted story as published in Annie Proulx's "Close Range" collection of short stories. I have the complete Brokeback Mountain short story in a stand-alone paperback book. I also own a BbM DVD and I did see the movie in a theater.
There are lots of things in her original short story which should have been in the movie and lots of stuff in the movie which should not have been there because some of it contradicts her original words.
