Hi, I'm an American living in Québec with my French Canadian partner. (Been together 25 years.) I've seen BBM 4 times, once in English, three time in French. I'm looking forward to finding out more about the movie and the book.
If I understand correctly, one of the people running this operation (Rafael?) is French. Je serais content de communiquer en français.
À bientôt, See you soon

Bonjour Ktema I am French to (of Switzerland) so there is a lot of French influence around the board. Je serais content de communiquer en français, aussi Bizz (Did you prefer the film in French or English, in Quebec are they subbed titled or dubbed?)

Hi, if you're Brokeback and you're the person I've been private messaging to, you'll understand that I'm still a little mixed up. Anyway...
I saw it first in Québec City back in December. As far as I can tell there's no subtitled version circulating in Québec, it's only either v.f. or v.o.a. Here in Québec City only the French dubbed version is showing, but I got to Montréal in January and got to see the English original. I much prefer the English, but it was probably a help to see the French first, since Ennis's lockjawed manner of speaking is very often incomprehensible. Because I had seen the French first, I already knew what he was going to say.
Since then, I've seen it twice again (in French both times), but I hope to get to see it again in English when I go down to Boston in April.

The one and only Brokeback @ your service Technically we are to speak in English, but I am native to speaking French so I am lax. on that rule. Yes it is The Secret, Remember, and in America they have no titles just Brokeback MountainAnyway I am so happy to have french speakers on the board I can not tell you. Formal or Informal French works great with me, I am young and take no offense I will check my messages now, do you prefer we speak in French together? Grosses bises xxx

Welcome Ktema53!! Bisous Rafael
