The only person in my family that really supported me and thought that the movie was such an incredible love story... now refused to watch Brokeback Mountain! Not because of the gay-themed in it but because she doesn't want to end up like many of us after watching the movie (in such a pain and sadness inside). I was truly hoping that after the DVD came out she would try to see it (because there was no way possible she would have come to the theater with me)... now she says no! She rather read the book and told me to get it for her instead of the film...

Oh! Well, I can understand where she is coming from in a way. It is so powerful that once you see it you will always be affected by it. However, I love things like this that truly make me take a new perspective and think. Perhaps if she reads the book then she will want to see the film. Don't give up hope Allennnd, I am sure it will work out! ;D

I agree, maybe after reading the book she would want to watch the movie as well... I'll let you know when this happen and of course I will get the book for her as soon as possible! I did gave her the DVD (remember that I told you about that!), so let's see how this goes... by the mean time, I'll think positive!
