Lovely pics! Johnny is another of my all-time favourite actors. I've adored him ever since I saw him in Cry Baby. I remember him in 21 Jump Street too, but it was Cry Baby that did it for me. I just thought "wow, this guy is amazing!" Aside from being almost too beautiful to be real he's an unbelievable actor. As I think I said in another thread, he's one of the few actors around who totally and completely becomes the characters he plays. He just disappears into them. He's played so many different and interesting roles over the years. Some of my favourite films of include Ed Wood, From Hell, Donnie Brasco, Don Juan De Marco, The Ninth Gate, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, The Man Who Cried, Finding Neverland and well, tons of others! I still haven't seen The Libertine yet but hope to soon. I've heard a lot of people say it's not that great but I don't care, I just want to see Johnny! Lol. And John Malkovich, another great actor. And Vanessa's adorable too. So pretty and talented.

Lol, I'm female too but dammit, Vanessa sure is beautiful, I agree. She seems so sweet and lovely too. My mother, who sadly died 4 years ago, was French, although she spent most of her life here in the UK. We used to have French satellite TV and (ok, I know I'm showing my age now, lol) I can still remember seeing Vanessa on various French TV shows when she was just a kid. She was so cute! I think she's a really talented actress and singer.

I love Johnny!!! As if no one knew this, lol. Every time I see something about Johnny, related to Johnny, or the man himself, I immediately turn from this: to THIS . He brings out the little girl in me. When I saw him at the Golden Globes with Vanessa, I never experienced the award show thing so I jumped up and down and screamed like a 5 year old. I didn't know he was coming, I was shocked and so excited. I've seen every movie he's done and he still amazes me.

Hunter was a genius of a writer!! No one in my mind compares to the works he has done. I have read a bunch of John Wilmot's poetry and that is just mind blowing too. Two great writers (that deserve their own threads, I'll get on that )

Oh Johnny...<3 My friend and I have a 'contract' (ie. a small worn piece of paper with our signatures on it), and it says that we MUST go to every JD movie that comes out in theatres.

OMG...Where should I start? Saying what? I can't help it...this feeling inside is overwhelming!!! Yeey!!! I am going to start by thanking you all for making this thread and for not leaving the "subject" behind! I am so glad that I have more JD fans to talk to. As regards one of our interests, Johnny Depp, I have seen him many years ago in "Nightmare On Elm Street". His first film, his first film seen by me...back then I was just a child. As the time passed by, along with my gradually maturity, my feelings have evolved, got intensified, are more "vivid" every day. I have seen most of all his movies at least 3 times. Inspite of all that, every time I watch them again I discover something new. It hasn't ceased surprising me in a very good way. With a new gesture...a new line that passed-by as unnoticed, with a cute face or with a charming smile.... Now, at 42 years old, he looks the same or even better as he did at 18 (check that yourselves in "Finding Neverland" and "Charlie An The Chocolate Factory"). I sincerely advise you to see them both (if you already haven't )...but if you expect of seeing some funny movies, best-suited for children, with "laughable" scenes, I'm going to have to disappoint you. These two movies are more alike to dramas and Johnny's characters are weird, as expected. Of his most recent movies, I have seen Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride", a great one, although we can "take advantage" only of Johnny's sweet voice. I can hardly wait for "POTC 2" because I got the cine-poster, the trailer, but I hope it will arrive in Theaters soon enough. As for "The Libertine"..for those of you who haven't seen the trailer, I've got it and I am most willing to share. Then again, THANK YOU for this thread and for loving Johnny (as much as I do... ) !!!

I will be at the POTC2 Premiere!! My all time favourites of his films are Arizona Dream (a cult-like classic... hysterical beyond belief. Scenes crack me up over and over!!) The Brave (soooooo powerful, ooh it wrenches my gut each time!!) The Man Who Cried (The first film I ever cried in) Donnie Brasco (for those who know me I am a huge fan of gangster films... and freaked my parents out when I told them I wanted to join the mafia at age 8 ) Once Upon a Time in Mexico of the Desperado series. I love the character of Sands!!
