Ok, in the end when Ennis is gazing at Jack's parka with the blood still stained on it, he realises that Jr. left her outter shirt at his place. He had given her a shot to celebrate her engagement, but being young and petite that could have had a big effect, and then she went out driving. Are we led to believe via. the shirt, that she dies ?

Earl and the other elderly gay man that Ennis' father (may or may not have killed) was killed via a tractor wheel... and then Jack supposedly died that way too... not to same but the tire blowing and suffocating him. Eerie parallels. That bit had me sobbing.

I haven't either. I have been really thinking about what mistakes they made in the movie. Like if you could see the shadow of a camera or something. Lol. But that is a godd perspective.

Ooh never thought of that tractor thing ... Anyway I do believe Alma Jr. is the next closest person to Ennis after Jack. He lost jack by going to work instead of going to BBM... So he wouldn't go to work in the mountains. He didn't wanna lose his last *love*. It could also imply that he is NOT coming to see her. Since he cannot face Alma again and so he has clothes from both of his loves. Alma Jr. & Jack.

It is interesting to ponder! @ Carly ... Wow... the mistakes mostly go over my head as I get so caught in the story and the philosophy of it... as with anything and everything. That is a true gift to pin-point out things!!

Yeah, if you go on www.imdb.com they tell you the things that you could see that you weren't. Like you could see the camera crew in the mirror of the dad's car when they are by grandma deth in Donnie Darko. I think that is what they said.
